What We Do at Stillion Industries
Located in Dexter, Michigan just outside Ann Arbor—about 50 miles west of Detroit, 25 miles east of Jackson, and 70 miles north of Toledo—our headquarters is conveniently situated off I‑94 along key supply chain routes in Southeast Michigan’s manufacturing corridor. Although we primarily serve the Dexter, Ann Arbor, and Chelsea area, we’ve grown over the years from a small local shop to a modern facility with a wide range of equipment and a highly-skilled team of machinists.
Come by any time and you’ll find a unique operation that, alongside modern standards like 3-axis and 4-axis milling machines, lathes, saws, grinders, etc., also includes some fairly rare vintage equipment. Those classic machines are built on rugged cast iron frames, which can often absorb vibration better than some of the newer machines for more stability and control under heavy cuts leading to smoother finishes.
In the hands of an experienced machinist, like the talented folks you’ll find here at Stillion Industries, that blend of sturdy classic equipment in combination with more versatile modern tools can produce a level of craftsmanship you just won’t find elsewhere.
Our highly motivated team is dedicated to impeccable quality. Many have been in the trade for decades, including company owner Keith Stillion who helped out his father in the early days of the company and has been around machining equipment since age 12.

Stillion Industries carries on a family legacy of precision machining going back generations. Since our founding in 1972, our operation has grown from modest roots into a team of highly skilled machinists operating both CNC and conventional equipment to deliver quality, speed, and reliability. Our 30,000 sq ft facility on a five-building campus is equipped for vertical and horizontal milling, multiple spindle/multiple turret turning, grinding/honing, sheet metal fabrication/welding/paint as well as component sub-assemblies, and much more.
